I always have lots to talk about; family, faith, politics, pop-culture, fashion... you name it, I'll have an opinion... If not immediately, within 24 hours. A friend of mine affectionately calls people like me "ignorant experts."
Ironically, I'm married to an actual expert (in one very specific topic -- "The European Union's Democratic Deficit" -- or at least that's what he wrote his doctoral dissertation on.) My husband Dr. Jon Bowman is quiet and humble and does more listening that talking... and he really, really likes me!
I'm raising a 4-year-old expert named Jonny Bowman Jr. It will be interesting if he follows in my husband's footsteps and actually becomes some sort of an expert, or just has a lot to say like his adoring mom.
The one thing the Three B's (Jon Sr, Jonny Jr and me) all have in common is that we are not strangers to what we call Plan B. The bible and less importantly the Byrds says/sung "There is a time and a purpose for everything under heaven." Plan B is simply an unveiling of God's good, soverign, and ultimate plan versus my own.
This blog will capture readers as they twist and turn through stories of Plan B... the ACTUAL workings of God versus my plans for our family life. Stay tuned... Plan B is sure to interest and amaze! To God be the Glory...
